AEM pioneered the Cold Air induction system for sport compact cars in 1995. Their Cold Air systems are dyno-proven to create more useable power than any other system of their kind. AEM proudly manufactures and assembles its air induction systems in the USA.

Every AEM Cold Air induction system features an individually tuned, mandrel-bent 6061 aluminum inlet pipe for each specific application. They test many combinations, and tune the length and diameter of each system to work with an engines harmonics (resonance frequencies) to help carry more air to the inlet valves across the RPM range. This translates into more power where you need it, when you need it.

Its a thermal dynamic fact that cooler air is more oxygen dense. Since oxygen is an integral part of the combustion process, the more you bring in the bigger the explosion in your combustion chamber, and the more power you make. That is why they relocate the filter outside of the engine compartment with their Cold Air intakes.

All of their air induction systems have a limited Lifetime Warranty. If you install it properly and maintain it per the recommended procedures, we guarantee it will last for the life of your vehicle.
